Stephen II
Reign
Hungary (1116 – 1131)
Description
Stephen II, just like his father Coloman, was king of Hungary, Croatia and Dalmatia. He reigned from 1116 to 1130.
His reign was full of conflicts. He lost Dalmatia, and in 1123 intervened in the civil strife of the Russian princes. Since he had no children, there was even the question of who would take over after his death. This is how Béla the Blind came to the throne.
