Galeria Valeria was the wife of the Roman emperor Galerius, who minted money in the Roman Empire between 311-315. Her coins were usually bronze or billon (a mixture of copper and silver) follis, with a portrait of the empress on the obverse and various gods, goddesses, or symbols on the reverse. The place and time of minting was indicated by the mint mark on the reverse. Galeria Valeria's coins are considered rare, and she was condemned and killed for the persecution of Christians.
