Description
XII. Pope Ince, originally named Antonio Pignatelli, was born on March 13, 1615 in Spinazzola, in the Kingdom of Naples. After completing his studies at the Jesuit school, VIII. He came to the court of Pope Orbán and later held episcopal offices in several places, for example in Vienna and Poland. After Sándor's death, a long conclave took place. During the beginning of his papacy, he took several measures to promote ecclesiastical reforms, for example with his bull aimed at curbing nepotism, the Romanum decet Pontificem.
