A Magyar Revíziós Liga célja a trianoni békerendszer békés, nemzetközi támogatással végrehajtott módosítása volt: a magyar többségű határmenti területek visszacsatolását, máshol népszavazásokat követelt, és ezt szervezett kül- és belföldi propagandaeszközökkel igyekezett elérni. 1927. július 27-én alakult meg, élén Herczeg Ferenc elnökkel és Eckhardt Tibor alelnökkel; létrejöttét erősen ösztönözte Lord Rothermere sajtókampánya.
