Felső köriratban Nemzeti Himnuszunk első sora: az „ISTEN, ÁLDD MEG A MAGYART!” felirat olvasható, amellyel az Alaptörvény általános indoklása is kezdődik. Alsó köriratban pedig „AZ ALAPTÖRVÉNY 5.
