A középkori magyar pénzverés emlékei közül kiemelkedik az Esztergomban vagy Székesfehérvárott kibocsátott Szent István király által veretett "Lancea Regis" feliratú dénár. A dénár egyik oldalán a kéz tart egy lándzsát, míg a másik oldalon stilizált templom látható. A Lancea Regis lándzsa az ereklyehordozó fegyver, amelynek története az Ademari Cabannensis kódexben is szerepel, melyben III. Ottó császár engedélyt ad Szent Istvánnak, hogy viselje a szent lándzsát. A Lancea Regis dénár ritkasága abban rejlik, hogy nem csak a pénzverőre, hanem magára az objektumra utal. A lelet a 11. század első felére datálható, és a király hatalmi jelképeit ábrázolja, valamint utalást tesz a templomok építésére és a magyar egyházszervezet kiépítésére.

Unter den Denkmälern der mittelalterlichen ungarischen Münzprägung sticht der von König István geprägte Denar „Lancea Regis“ hervor, der in Esztergom oder Székesfehérvár ausgegeben wurde. Auf der einen Seite des Denars hält eine Hand einen Speer, auf der anderen Seite ist ein stilisierter Tempel zu sehen. Der Lancea-Regis-Speer ist die relikttragende Waffe, deren Geschichte auch im Ademari Cabannensis-Kodex enthalten ist, in dem III. Kaiser Otto erteilt dem Heiligen Stephan die Erlaubnis, den heiligen Speer zu tragen. Die Seltenheit des Lancea-Regis-Denars liegt darin, dass er sich nicht nur auf die Münzstätte, sondern auf das Objekt selbst bezieht. Der Fund lässt sich in die erste Hälfte des 11. Jahrhunderts datieren und zeigt die Machtsymbole des Königs sowie Hinweise auf den Bau von Kirchen und den Aufbau der ungarischen Kirchenorganisation.

The "Lancea Regis" denar minted by King Saint István issued in Esztergom or Székesfehérvár stands out among the monuments of medieval Hungarian coinage. On one side of the denarius, a hand holds a spear, while on the other side, a stylized temple can be seen. The Lancea Regis spear is the relic-carrying weapon, the history of which is also included in the Ademari Cabannensis codex, in which III. Emperor Otto gives Saint Stephen permission to wear the holy spear. The rarity of the Lancea Regis denarius lies in the fact that it refers not only to the mint, but to the object itself. The find can be dated to the first half of the 11th century and depicts the king's symbols of power, as well as references to the construction of churches and the establishment of the Hungarian church organization.

En un lado del denario, una mano sostiene una lanza, mientras que en el otro lado se puede ver un templo estilizado. La lanza Lancea Regis es el arma portadora de reliquias, cuya historia también se recoge en el códice Ademari Cabannensis, en el que III. El emperador Otto le da permiso a San Esteban para usar la lanza sagrada. La rareza del denario Lancea Regis radica en el hecho de que se refiere no solo a la ceca, sino al objeto mismo. El hallazgo puede fecharse en la primera mitad del siglo XI y representa los símbolos de poder del rey, así como referencias a la construcción de iglesias y el establecimiento de la organización eclesiástica húngara.

D'un côté du denier, une main tient une lance, tandis que de l'autre côté, on distingue un temple stylisé. La lance Lancea Regis est l'arme porteuse de reliques, dont l'histoire est également incluse dans le codex Ademari Cabannensis, dans lequel III. L'empereur Otto donne à saint Étienne la permission de porter la sainte lance. La rareté du denier Lancea Regis réside dans le fait qu'il se réfère non seulement à la menthe, mais à l'objet lui-même. La découverte peut être datée de la première moitié du XIe siècle et représente les symboles de pouvoir du roi, ainsi que des références à la construction d'églises et à l'établissement de l'organisation ecclésiastique hongroise.

Tra i monumenti della monetazione ungherese medievale spicca il denaro "Lancea Regis" coniato dal re San István emesso a Esztergom o Székesfehérvár. Da un lato del denario una mano regge una lancia, mentre dall'altro si intravede un tempietto stilizzato. La lancia Lancea Regis è l'arma porta reliquie, la cui storia è contenuta anche nel codice Ademari Cabanensis, in cui III. L'imperatore Ottone dà a Santo Stefano il permesso di indossare la lancia sacra. La rarità della Lancea Regis denarius sta nel fatto che si riferisce non solo alla zecca, ma all'oggetto stesso. Il ritrovamento è databile alla prima metà dell'XI secolo e raffigura i simboli del potere del re, nonché riferimenti alla costruzione di chiese e all'istituzione dell'organizzazione ecclesiastica ungherese.
