A Magyar Nemzeti Bank 1992 szeptemberében rendelte meg a Magyar Pénzverőtől a 200 forintos érme próbavereteit és az első 500.000 db szériagyártását. A Pénzverő 1992-ben leszállított 50 db 1992-es évszámú proof próbaveretet és 30.000 db proof kivitelű veretet a banknak, valamint elkészített további 50-50 db 1993-as verési évszámú verdefényes és proof próbaveretet. A sorozatgyártású vereteket azonban csak 1993. februári szállítással tudta visszaigazolni, mivel a hazai lapkagyártó 1992-ben nem volt felkészülve nagyobb mennyiségű ezüstlapka gyártására. Feltehetően ezért az MNB végül az 1992-es évszámú 200 forintos sorozatgyártásához szükséges lapkák előállítását és az érmék verését is az angol pénzverdétől, a British Royal Mint-től rendelte meg. Im September 1992 ordnete die Magyar Nemzeti Bank die Testprägung der 200-Forint-Münze und die Serienproduktion der ersten 500.000 Münzen bei der Magyar Pénzverő an. Im Jahr 1992 lieferte die Münzanstalt 50 Proof-Münzen aus dem Jahr 1992 und 30.000 Proof-Münzen an die Bank und produzierte weitere 50-50 geprägte Proof-Münzen aus dem Jahr 1993. Allerdings konnte er die massenproduzierten Münzstätten erst mit der Auslieferung im Februar 1993 bestätigen, da der heimische Waferhersteller nicht bereit war, im Jahr 1992 größere Mengen Silberwafer zu produzieren. Vermutlich aus diesem Grund ordnete die MNB die Herstellung der für die Serienproduktion des 200 HUF 1992 erforderlichen Wafers und die Prägung der Münzen bei der britischen Royal Mint an. In September 1992, the Magyar Nemzeti Bank ordered the test minting of the 200 forint coin and the serial production of the first 500,000 coins from the Magyar Pénzverő. In 1992, the Mint delivered 50 proof proof coins dated 1992 and 30,000 proof coins to the bank, as well as produced another 50-50 minted and proof proof coins dated 1993. However, he was only able to confirm the mass-produced mints with delivery in February 1993, as the domestic wafer manufacturer was not prepared to produce larger quantities of silver wafers in 1992. Presumably for this reason, the MNB ordered the production of the wafers required for the serial production of the 1992 200 HUF and the minting of the coins from the British Royal Mint. En 1992, la Casa de la Moneda entregó 50 monedas de prueba con fecha de 1992 y 30,000 monedas de prueba al banco, y también produjo otras 50-50 monedas acuñadas y de prueba con fecha de 1993. Sin embargo, solo pudo confirmar las mentas producidas en masa con entrega en febrero de 1993, ya que el fabricante nacional de obleas no estaba preparado para producir mayores cantidades de obleas de plata en 1992. Cependant, il n'a pu confirmer que les menthes produites en série avec livraison en février 1993, car le fabricant national de plaquettes n'était pas prêt à produire de grandes quantités de plaquettes d'argent en 1992. Vraisemblablement pour cette raison, la MNB a finalement ordonné la production des plaquettes nécessaires à la production en série des 200 HUF de 1992 et à la frappe des pièces de la British Royal Mint.
