September 2016 – Im Rahmen des Gedenkjahres „Miklós Zrínyi – Szigetvár 1566“ wird die Magyar Nemzeti Bank eine silberne Gedenkmünze mit einem Nennwert von 10.000 Forint und eine Buntmetallversion mit einem Nennwert von 2.000 Forint herausgeben am 5. September 2016. Die Gedenkmünzen erscheinen im Rahmen der 2004 eingeführten Serie „Ungarische Burgen“. Die Gedenkmünzen erinnern an den heldenhaften Einsatz des Burgverteidigers Miklós Zrínyi und seines Teams zum 450. Jahrestag der berühmten Flucht des Burghauptmanns. Das Besondere an den Gedenkmünzen ist, dass neben den sogenannten Sie enthalten außerdem ein Sicherheitselement mit Mikroschrift.
