Az emlékérmék előoldalának központi motívuma a Révai Testvérek által, Jókai 50 éves írói jubileuma tiszteletére 1894-től kiadott, aranyozott vászon Gottermayer kötésű „Jókai Mór összes művei – Nemzeti kiadás” c. könyvsorozat egyik kötetére utaló könyvgerinc és keményfedeles borítórészlete. Az előoldal bal oldalán, a könyvgerinccel határolva, külső körgyűrűben a kibocsátóra utaló „MAGYARORSZÁG” felirat, mellette, a gerinccel párhuzamosan két sorba szerkesztve, a „20000”, illetve a „3000” értékjelzés, valamint a balról a „BP.” verdejellel, jobbról a „2025” verési évszámmal közrefogott „FORINT” felirat olvasható.Provide a better value for 3 points and your shop link will appear here.

Az emlékérmék hátoldalán Jókai Mór ülő alakos ábrázolása szerepel, melyet az íróról az 1870-es évek végén Budapesten készült fotó ihletett. A portrétól balra az „1825 – 1904” felirat utal Jókai születési és halálozási évére. Az évszámok alatt Jókai aláírása olvasható. Description (Hungarian):

Az 1825. február 18-án Komáromban született Jókai Mór a magyar irodalom egyik legkiválóbb, legsokrétűbb alakja. Rendkívül termékeny szerző, aki több irodalmi műfajban alkotott, számos regény, novella, színmű, vers és újságcikk fűződik a nevéhez. Az első írói sikert az Egy magyar nábob és a Kárpáthy Zoltán című regények hozták meg a számára. Politikai és közéleti tevékenysége is jelentős. Petőfivel még iskolai évei alatt ismerkedett meg. A márciusi ifjak egyikeként az 1848-49-es forradalmat pesti és debreceni lapok szerkesztőjeként is támogatta. Évtizedeken keresztül országgyűlési képviselőként politizált. 1860-tól a Kisfaludy Társaság, 1858-tól a Magyar Tudományos Akadémia levelező, 1861-től rendes tagja, 1876-ban a Petőfi Társaság alapító tagja és elnöke volt. Számos díjjal ismerték el munkásságát.

A „nagy magyar mesemondó” tiszteletére, születésének bicentenáriuma alkalmából, az MNB 20 000 Ft névértékű ezüst emlékérmét és annak 3 000 Ft névértékű színesfém változatát bocsátja ki 2025. február 18-án. Az emlékérmék a köztiszteletnek örvendő, kortársak által is elismert Jókai életművét és ikonikus alakját idézik meg, méltatva irodalmi és kulturális hagyatékát.
